Leadership Approach + Experience

Channels and tactics were never the real answer. What has always interested me is what’s changing—and why. How shifts in culture, consumer expectations, media and technology change behavior, create new opportunities and challenge what worked before.

That curiosity has shaped my career for more than 15 years, taking me from digital and social strategy into broader roles across media, brand, experience, growth and innovation. I’ve continued to follow change wherever it creates new questions to solve, working across disciplines, categories and markets rather than staying within a single specialty.

It’s also what continues to drive me today: understanding what’s changing, connecting the patterns behind it, and using strategy to help organizations find opportunities for growth.

Shaping Strategic Priorities for Global Brands

Publicis Media — SVP, Innovation & Strategy

Connecting Strategy, Culture + Innovation

Currently, at Publicis Media, my work has expanded well beyond innovation. I work across brand and growth strategy, media, cultural and audience intelligence, emerging technology and partnerships—often bringing together specialists across a very large network around one client challenge.

That ability to see across the pieces has become central to my role: understanding what each team knows, where the connections are, and turning it into a strategy everyone can build from.

IPG / Weber Shandwick — Digital Innovation Leadership

From Digital to Integrated Strategy

Weber Shandwick was where I moved beyond thinking about digital as its own discipline. I worked across earned, social, influencer and paid media, while also becoming heavily involved in new business and integrated client strategy.

It gave me a much broader view of how brands actually come together—and made the space between disciplines just as interesting to me as the disciplines themselves.

Publicis / MSL — Digital Strategy

Building Something New

MSL was my first real opportunity to build. Paid social was still an emerging capability, and I helped grow the practice while managing the work across clients and international markets.

It was entrepreneurial and hands-on: learning what worked, building the processes and team around it, and helping make a new capability part of how the agency operated.

Career Journey

Mentorship + Advisory

Mentorship has become a more meaningful part of my work as I’ve become more senior. Through Adweek, Girls in Tech, Out in Tech, Outlier Ventures and informal mentorship, I spend time with people navigating career decisions, developing their point of view or simply trying to figure out what comes next.

I try to give the kind of advice I value myself: candid, practical and based on how things actually work.

What else?

Growing up across Germany, having lived in Japan and now the U.S., shaped how I read culture and markets — as patterns that shift by geography, not just by category.
